Fearless Art Journaling Class

I’m teaching my very first art journaling class at our local library. I’ve developed this class from all of my playing in my art journals over the past two years. I know how much fun I’ve had that I just wanted to share it with others.

This class is very different from classes I’ve designed and taught in the past since it has very little writing and can be really messy!

Several of the gals wore aprons for this second session after the first session of painting. I brought my camera to this class to catch the action as everyone stamped and stenciled the art journals they had just made.

Unfortunately, my pictures of Karen and Deanette did not turn out, and Liz and Barbara missed out on the fun.

One thing I stress in this class is to have fun. Don’t worry about perfect and just play. There are no mistakes. I was amazed at the painting in the first session. Every page was beautiful. The stamping and stenciling pages in this class were also very different, but again really pretty. It sure is fun to spend an afternoon with such a talented group of women!

I’m really looking forward to next week when we collage.
