Yesterday I took a walk around Happy Acres with my camera. Spotting these surprises made my day.
I usually don’t spot these until they are all blooming.
Been drying a lot of tomatoes. I’ve got a whole countertop full to work on this morning. I snapped a couple shots before they went in to the dehydrator last week. This tray kind of looks like a flag!
I just love all the colors in this one.
I’ve been watching this plant for some time now.
I asked Dave to grow this last year but I have no idea why or where I found information about it but I bet it had to do with soap making!! Here is a better picture to show how large it is so far.
The coleus have been absolutely beautiful this year.
Our sweet Carmens are ready. We had one grilled last night. Yum!
My lavender didn’t do as well as last year. Part of that was because it was so hot that I didn’t get out to pick it. But I have enough until next year’s harvest.
Some lovely little eggplants.
Then these last pictures are my favorite of the coneflowers and black eye susans. Won’t be long and they’ll all be gone.
That’s all for now here. Got to go process the tomatoes. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
