Well, yesterday I harvested two of my Grosso plants and Dave’s Dilly. Now I’m singing the “Dilly, dilly” song again!
Even though it was overcast, the bumble bees were a buzzing, but they let me harvest the Grosso.
Then on to bundle and hang in the garage.
Then to harvest the Dilly and hang it.
Now the garage smells great. It will be several weeks until they are dry and ready to debud and put away.
And had to take a bunch for the livingroom.
Meanwhile, we’re wrapping up the black raspberry harvest. I’ll be cutting the harvested canes out and mulching the new ones that I hope will produce even more next year.
Blueberries have started turning so I’ve been harvesting them also every day. Chandler is the biggest of the berries. I was amazed at the size.
Talking about mulching, the asparagus finally got mulched a couple weeks ago. (Oh, how the time flies!) I love the look of the ferns.
